Ladies on Friday! Please share your fiction.

It can be book reviews, excerpts of promos, bits of fiction written just for the hop, to give a few examples. The A to Z Challenge is done, so I'm a bit looser on what I might personally share :D I've been excited to work on organizing my writing- focused on unfinished projects. I may even share 12 lines from something in progress that I haven't looked at. What might you share? :D
